13.Teadustöö põhisuunad Uute bioaktiivsete looduslike ühendite (oksülipiinid, steroidid) eraldamine ja identifitseerimine. Eikosanoidide biosünteesi ja metabolismiradade uuringud korrallides. Uute tsükloosügenaaside otsing selgrootutes (putukad) ja vetikates ning rasvhapete metabolismiradade uurimine nimetatud organismides.
