1999. – 2001. a. õppisin Tartu Ülikooli MRI Loodusteaduste didaktika lektoraadis bioloogia didaktika magistriõppes, 2001. a. kaitsesin magistrikraadi bioloogia didaktika erialal (MSc in biology didactics).
2000. – 2005. a. õppisin Turu Ülikooli haridusteaduskonnas hariduse doktoriõppes, kus 2005. a. kaitsesin doktorikraadi hariduses (PhD in Education).
2001. – 2005. a. läbisin Tartu Ülikooli MRI loodusteaduste ja maateaduse doktoriõppe, kus lõpetasin õpingud seoses doktorikraadi kaitsmisega Turu Ülikoolis.
