Sihtfinantseeritava teema 038148s02 "Fundamentaalnähtused laia keelutsootiga materjalides ja nende rakendusperspektiivid" (2005.a. - 3.243 mln EEK) vastutav täitja. TÜ füüsika osakonna ja TÜFI nõukogu liige. Juhendan kahte projekti mis on seotud sünkrotronkiirguse kasutamisega MAX-Lab-is (Lund) ja HASYLAB-is (DESY, Hamburg). Eesti Füüsika Seltsi liige. XV Rahvusvahelise dielektriliste materjalide defektialase konverentsi kaasesimees (ICDIM-2004, 11-16 July 2004, Riia Läti)." Paljude konverentside International Advisory Committee liige.
