13. | Teadustöö põhisuunad | Kristallvõre defektide elektron-paramagnetiline resonants (EPR) ja optiline spektroskoopia laia keelutsooniga süsteemides. Uuritud on defektide struktuuri ja termostimuleeritud füüsikalisi protsesse, nagu elektronide ja aukude liikumist ning defektide tekkimist ja kadumist uuritavates objektides. Metalloksiid materjalidest õhukeste tahkiskihtide süntees ja nende füüsikaliste omaduste analüüs. |

13. | Current research program | The main themes of scientific research have been radiational defects, their structure, origins and the mechanisms of decomposition in ionic crystals. The basic methods used in experiments have been the paramagnetic resonance of electrons, luminescence and optical methods. Whithin the past fifteen years there are number of publications which topics is physics of atomic layer deposition. |
