13.Teadustöö põhisuunad Gaaslahenduse füüsika: Väljatugevuse määramine gaaslahenduses spektroskoopilistel meetoditel lämmastiku spektri põhjal. Elektronemisioon ja koroonalahendus metall-dielektrik-süsteemidest. Kõrgsageduslahendus kapillaarlahenduse uurimine eksimeersegudes.
Laserkiirguse ja aine vahelised mõjud: Laserablatsioonil tekkinud vooluimpulsside uurimine. Laserablatsioonil tekkivate nanooskeste ja nende dünaamika uurimine.
