1975-1990 suurte energiasüsteemide kompleksse optimaalse juhtimise ala uurimuste koordinaator NL TA ja paljus ka sotsialistlike riikide TA liinis, aga samuti ka paljude vastavate koostöö nõupidamiste, seminaride ja konferentside organisaator (või üks organisaatoritest) Irkutskis, Novosibirskis, Sverdlovskis, Moskvas, Kievis, Riias, Kaunases, Tallinnas, Prahas, Budapestis, Gdanskis, Dresdenis jm. Alates 1991.aastast see töö on jätkunud Balti riikides kui BEUA president ja alates 1999.a. kui BESUA juhataja. Siinjuures selle aja jooksul on organiseeritud rida seminare Balti, Saksa, Rootsi ja Portugali koostöö raames. |

Xxxxx Xxxxx, DSc, 2005, juh. Lembit Krumm. juhendatud ligi 20 kaitstud kandit.dissertatsiooni, millede autoritest 7 on tead. doktorid (endise NL ja Venemaa Min. Nõuk. KAK otsusega) ja 1 on saanud Vene TA akadeemikuks. Sellele on aidanud kaasa ka pedagoogiline tegevus - loengukursused elektrijaamade, võrkude ja süsteemide erialal, eriti EES eriküsimused (TPI-s-6, NETI-s-1, IPI-s-1). | 13. | Teadustöö põhisuunad | Põhiteadusala - süsteemuuringud energeetikas, eriti elektroenergeetiliste süsteemide (EES) funktsioneerimise ja arengu kompleksse optimaalse juhtimise ja planeerimise teooria ja meetodid. Teaduslik looming - EES kompleksse (arvestades otseselt EES täpseid olekuvõrrandeid kui piirtingimusi) optimaalse juhtimise teooriale ja meetoditele alusepanija [kaitses ka vastavasisulist tead.dokt.disserd.(vt.punkt 8)], vastava koolkonna looja ja uurimissuuna juhendaja endises NL-s ja koordinaator endiste sotsialistlike riikide TA liinis (põhiliselt kuni 1990.a.) ja eriti Eestis, Lätis ja Leedus, kusjuures alates 1991.a. juba kui BEUA president ja 1999.a. kui BESUA juhataja. See looming on esitatud rohkem kui 200 publikatsioonis, mille hulgas on 15 monograafiat ja 4 deponeeritud monograafilist tööd (6 ilma kaasautoriteta). |

| 13. | Current research program | Main scienttific field - system research in energy, especially the theory and methods of the complex optimal control of electric power systems (EPS) performans and development. Scientific works - founder of the theory and methods of the complex optimal control of EPS (considering the precise state equations of theEPS as boundary conditions), establisher of the corresponding school and a supervisor of the research trend in the former SU and a coordinator of the trend in the Acad. of Sci. of former socialist coutries (mainly to 1990), especially in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Over 200 works have been published in this field, including 15 monographs and 4 deposited monografs (6 without co-authors). |
