13.Current research program Work in Germany (Halle, Müncheberg): Uptake and distribution of water and nutrients in leaves of Broad bean. Nutrient analysis and application and measurement of radiotracers for nutrients (P, Ca, Fe) and for carbon (CO2).
Present work: Measurement of gas exchange, fluorescence and photosynthetic parameters in intact leaves, in vivo measurement of pH changes in the symplast and apoplast of intact leaves, in reaction of plants to stress by heat or ozone.
