13.Teadustöö põhisuunad Valgusünteesi fundamentaalsed mehhanismid bakteris. Ribosoomide moodustumine ja ribosomaalse RNA roll ribosoomi kokkupakkimisel ja funktsioneerimisel bakterirakus. Ribosomaalse RNA modifitseerimine ja selle tähtsus valgusünteesis. Bakteriaalse ribosoomi subühikute vaheliste sildade funktsioonaalne analüüs.
