| 13. | Teadustöö põhisuunad | (1) Eesti lihhenofloora koosseis Olen olnud ETF projektide “Eesti lihhenofloora koosseis ja analüüs” (1995-1998) ja “Eesti pisisamblikud” (1999-2002) üks põhitäitjatest. Nimetatud projektide raames olen koostanud liigikirjeldused,määramistabelid, esitanud leviku ja ökoloogia andmed Eestis (autor raamatus Eesti Pisisamblikud). Olen teinud ettepanekuid Eesti Punase Raamatu liikide kategooria muutmisteks ja samblikuliikide kaitse alla võtmiseks Eestis. (2) Eesti metsade lihhenofloora floristiline ja ökoloogiline uurimine Samblike liigilise mitmekesisuse seost metsa ökoloogiliste tingimustega olen uurinud Eesti vanemates vähese inimmõjuga metsades. Laialehiste lehtpuude lihhenofloorat olen analüüsinud Eesti panga- ja lammimetsades. (3) Eesti väikesaarte ja laidude lihhenofloora floristiline ja biogeograafiline uurimine Olen uurinud mitmete Eesti väikesaarte ja laidude lihhenofloorat, esitanud liiginimekirjad ja floristilise analüüsi. Enamikul nendest saartest või laidudest on samblike uuritud esmakordselt (Osmussaar, Hiiumaa MKA laiud, Väinameres asetsevad laiud). (4) Hariliku kopsusambliku (Lobaria pulmonaria) levik, kasvukohad ja geneetiline mitmekesisus Eestis Olen koostanud h. kopsusambliku levikukaardi Eestis ja analüüsinud selle liigi kasvukohanõudlusi. H. kopsusambliku geneetilist mitmekesisust olen uurinud koostöös Shveitsis Birmensdorfis asuva Metsa-, Lume- ja Maastiku-uuringute instituudis. |
