description: The main objective of the investigation is to test new introduced plum and sweet cherry clonal rootstocks in Estonian conditions. Winterhardiness, resistance to stone fruits fungal diseases, productivity, fruit quality, fruit biochemical content and graft compatibility will be tested. Also their suitability to grow in our conditions and their propagation possibilities will be evaluated. Results of research will allow in the nearest future significantly increase the area of stone fruit growing and production efficiency as well as to decrease the labor costs, shorten time until bearing and improve the fruit quality.
