description: | .The final aim of the project is to produce solar cell elements on the basis of electrochemically deposited absorber films and chemically deposited buffer layers. The project is a logical continuation of the finishing grant 3409 of the applicant, in frame of which the processes of electrodeposition and formation of semiconductor compounds for absorber layers were studied. The next to the absorber layer in solar cells is a very thin (5 - 50 nanometers) chemically deposited buffer layer. The main goal of the project is to find out applicable regimes for chemical bath process and for following thermal treatments of different buffer layer materials: CdS, In2S3 etc. This is the task of getting know-how. The investigation of correlations between optical and electrical properties and composition and thermal treatment and other preparation conditions gives us basic knowledge and can be published in scientific journals. The main task of the project is to study the tailoring of morfological, optical and electrical properties of deposited layers for the best formation of p-n junction of solar cells. |
