| description: | 1.The standardization the diagnosing of proximal femoral fractures and the unification of the fracture classification - introducing the AO classification, creating the database and the regular assessment the quality of the operative treatment. 2. Elaboration of a new type of fixator in order to achieve better fixation stability and introducing a novel method for metallic osteosynthesis of fractures of proximal region of femor with concomitant bone allotransplantation - Working out of a gel in order to place the bone matrix more effectively into the region of osteosynthesis, including experimental study in rabbits - Applying the densitometric study to evaluate the effectivness of bone transplantation in the region of the osteosynthesis 3. Studying the mechanisms of HO formation after hip arthroplasty and to elaborate the stradegy of the treatment for this complication. - Clinical and radiological assessment of patients state and function. - Giving the systematized overview of histology and immuno-histochemistry of heterotopic ossificates. - Assessment of the effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the HO by means of applyied clinical morphological methods. - Determining of the HO risk factors and to elaborate an aid to determine individual regimen of prophylaxis and treatment. |
