| description: | The aim of the project is to investigate the usage of media by Estonian secondary school students and their abilities to understand and interpret the media messages. It also aims at studying the teachers' experience and classroom practices of teaching media. The project also attempts at specifying and defining the vocabulary of the field. The results: 1) a report mapping the situation and needs of the media education in Estonia and containing practical proposals for improving media education and media literacy; 2) a test program and a set of teaching materials for schools; 3) a curriculum for educating media teachers; 4) one MA thesis and at least one BA thesis. |
