The aim of current grant application is synthesis and chromatography properties investigation of monolithic ion exchangers for ion chromatography. The first task is starting monomers chemical modification resulting the appropriate polymeric ion exchanger. The main problems to be solved are monolithic material macro- and micropores ratio and measurements optimisation to enable the rapid ion exchange, good column efficiency and sufficient eluent velocity through mesopores. |
