description: The aims of the project are following:
1. to investigate the effects of different physical education lessons (fitness and activity promotion-A; coordination and motor skill learning-B) on the motor development and physical activity during lessons in elementary school physical education.
2. to examine the teaching environment in different physical education lessons.
The hypothesis of the study:
Fitness and physical activity related program increases the level of health-related fitness and physical activity during lessons, whereas motor learning and coordination related program improves classroom learning environment and motor skill acquisition.
The results of present study will provide us with more objective data concerning t he effects of different lessons on motor development, physical activity during lessons and teaching climate in elementary school physical education. Therefore, theoretical evidence for assessing current and developing alternative physical education programs for elementary classes will be available.
