duration: | 01.01.2003 - 31.12.2006 |
description: | Under the current project the formation chemistry, growth and properties of thin films solar cell materials as metal oxides, II-VI and CIS -type compounds by spray pyrolysis and sol-gel method will be studied. The aim of the project is the elaboration of low-cost solar cells. The project is a development of the research started under our previous projects. The investigations will be proceeded in the next directions during the year 2003: 1. Formation chemistry of CIS -type compounds and metal oxides in spray pyrolysis and sol gel processes applying thermoanalytical methods. 2. Growth and properties of absorber layers on porous and flat TiO2 and ZnO electrodes for superstrate and ETA cells. 3. Investigation of thin films and solar cell structures by the electron beam methods. Development of the sample preparation techniques for TEM and SEM studies. 4. Investigation of physical properties of thin films and solar cells, feedback to the preparation technology ... |
