description: | Investigation of relationships between the structure and properties of modified apatites, modellation of structure of modified apatites on the basis of experimental data, including quantum chemical methods. Expected results enable to explain the stability of various metal ions in apatite structure and to estimate factors, influencing their migration. The results present practical interest in application of apatites for immobilization of toxic metals from waters and soils. The study permits also to create preconditions for preparation of new materials with specific properties and to determine the influence of structural substitutions on obtaining of polyphosphates [Ca2P2O7, CaNH4(PO3)3 ] from apatites. |
