description: | Electrochemical impedanse spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, atomic force microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, Raman- and infrared spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction, EDXA- and other methods for analysis of the modified solid electrolyte base boundary structure and characteristics will be used. The influence of the chemical composition and crystallographic structure of solid phase on the adsorption, absorption and heterogeneous charge transfer characteristics will be established. The nature of the limiting steps of absorption, adsorption and heterogeneous charge transfer processes will be obtained. The characteristic relaxation times and Gibbs energy of adsorption (absorption), the rate constant and formal charge transfer coefficient and activation energy of heterogeneous reaction(s) will be calculated. The energy density - power density (ie. so called Ragone) plots will be established for various devices completed from various nanostructural and nanoporous materials. Optimal nanoporous and nanostructural electrode materials, electrochemically stable electrolytes and working conditions for highly effective novel type electrical double layer and hybride capacitors as well as fuel cells will be established. Various approximations of the theoretical and quantum chemistry for fitting of the adsorption and heterogeneous charge transfer processes at the modified solid electrolyte interface will be applied and developed. |
