| description: | The aim of the project is to study the molecular mechanisms, clinical symptoms, prevalence and quality of life in children and adolescents with developmental disorders (adrenogenital syndrome) and chronic diseases (vascular disroders, epilepsy, coeliac disease, juvenile arthritis). The understanding of molecular mechanisms enables us to establish the correlations between molecular mechanisms and clinical symptoms (phenotype) and to find methods for pathogenetic treatment. The aim of this study is also establish early signs and markers of the diseases which enables presymptomatic diagnosis or very early diagnosis of these diseases and therefore improves the possibilities for complex treatment and influences the quality of life of these people and diminish the costs of medical and social care. The study of the prevalence rate gives us the possibility to plan the medical and social care on the country level. Investigation of the satisfaction of the clients with medical information gives us evidence based data about the quality of this very important, but underestimated part in medical service and possibilty to improve this if it needed. Results of this study can be used for evidence based protocols for early diagnosis, complex treatment and prophylaxis and in training students and doctors, specially family doctors and to improve the quality of medical care to children and adolescense. |
