| description: | The problems of reliability have become very important in power engineering today. The deterministic or largely simplified probabilistic approaches have been dominating so far. Present research covers analysis and optimisation of reliability of power plants, networks and energy systems during their operation and development planning. The parameters and metods of estimaton of reliability of power plants and networks, and operational reliability of power systems under probabilistic, interval uncertain and fuzzy information will be elaborated. The methodologies of optimal control and optimal development planning will be enhanced further with accounting the reliability issues. The research consists of following parts: 1) estimation of operational reliability of power plants, 2) estimation of operational reliability of electrical networks, 3) estimation of operational reliability of power systems, 4) improved methodologies of power systems¿ optimal control and optimal development planning considering control of reliability. The goals of the research are, in one hand, consideration of requirements of reliability and secyrity of supply in the tasks of sustainable operation and development planning of energy systems and their components, and in the other hand, optimisation of the levels of reliability and security of supply. |
