description: Sub-theme The scattering of sound waves from cylindrical submerged shells. Sound scattering from submerged infinite and finite length cylindrical shells is considered. Analysis of the results can be applied to more complex structures, for which analytical solution is not available. Theoretical results will be checked in Le Havre University.
Sub-theme The modeling of large hydraulic systems The expected result of the project will be the software for the optimal management of surface and ground water resources to improve the water quality The realization of the project solves following questions: drinking water quality, EU standards for the water quality, surface water and ground water resources.
Sub-theme Surf zone hydrodynamics is closely related to the wind generated wave field at current location. Storms with low probability but high wave energy have caused also extreme situations in the harbours. The aim of the investigations is using experimental methods to determine the critical eroding velocities of the seabed that of the coastline of Estonia.
