description: 1.In the field of energetics, an overview will be given about renewable resources in Estonia (wind, solar energy, organic substances: firewood, manure, hay, straw, reed). Economically efficient technologies of using renewable resources will be find out depending on the location of the consumer and the source of energy resource, and considering the co-generation of heat and electricity in small local power stations. For determining economical efficiency, analyze methods with different criteria are used.
2.By the Results of investigations of the machinery, operators, working environment and materials the mathematical models, algorithmus and computer programs would be compiled for chosing the technologies, machinery and working enviroment optimation. The effects of interactions of the biological, technical, technologikal, ergonomical and economical faktors would be considered.
3.Studying of expediency of reconstruction of existing large cow sheds from the point of view of their renewing and utilization. Construction of new and low cost animal friendley farms using sustainable building materials. Ecological and economical comparison of different designs of manure storages.
4.Development of mechanical methods for determination of residual stresses in the multilayered orthotropic plates, discs, spheres and cylinders with multilayered orthotropic coatings. Improvement of the methods for determination of initial stresses.
