The aim of the project is to develop an efficient and environmentally-friendly technology for production of cured strawberry planting material. The project involves research, in test tubes, of the fertility and rooting capability of strawberry micro-sprouts dependent on the age of tissue cultures and the conditions of cultivation. The project also involves research of the effect of the number of propagation transfers and of the composition of the culture medium on the behaviour of plants in the bed, on the intensity of their growth, on the formation of daughter plants, and on the inflorescence and productivity of plants. The introduction of the technology contributes to increases in the productivity and vitality of plants in plantations, as well as to the improvement of the quality of daughter plants and of the entire berry crop. |
