The project involves the development of and preparations for production of fully automated 20 - 120 kW small boilers and burners of wood pellets, which have a novel design. The boilers will be operated on the basis of wood pellets that constitute a renewable and relatively inexpensive bio-fuel. The 20 kW small boilers that are operated on the basis of wood pellets, light fuel oil and gas constitute the basis of the development. The construction of the boilers is peculiar for its dead-ended combustion chamber and the convective section equipped with turbulators, which ensure the efficiency ratio of the boilers to up to 92% upon the service capacity, as well as conformity to the EU standards concerning the composition of exhaust. AS Viljandi Metallitööstus and AS FLEXHEAT are cooperation partners in the production of the boilers and the appropriate fuel ¿ wood pellets. |
