description: Applied research of weed control in vegetable production for the increasing of efficiency and environmental sustainability of plant protection methods The aim of present study is to find efficient reduced doses of the herbicide mixtures for the different vegetable crops (red beet, carrot, cabbage) . That allows to decrease the economical expenses and ecological harm of herbicides at the same time.In 2003 is planned to test the four reduced doses of Betanal and Goltix in different mixtures in red beet cultivation. Experiment will be curried out in 15 different test variants. Number of weeds will be estimated in different phenophases. For the establishment of ecological influence of used herbicide variants the species composition and number of carabids will be studied. For the estimation of economic efficiency the yield of different variants of beet cultivation will be measured.
