description: | The aim of this project is to study materials and processes of formation of monograin powders and monograin layer solar cells. The proposal includes the investigations of the different materials and processes of formation monograin powders, buffer layers and electrodes and to develop new methods of preparation and designs of monograin layer solar cell structures. The practical application of these developed structures is planned as cheap high efficient solar cells. More precisely project plan involves studies 1. The development of new advanced technologies for preparation of monograin powders of different CIS materials with predicted structural, physical and chemical properties; The investigation of the optical, electronic and other important properties and chemical composition of the developed materials in dependence of different technological parameters; 2. The investigation of the processes of formation of buffer layer and electrodes for monograin structures. Investigation of optical, electrical and structural properties and chemical composition of buffer layer and electrodes. Development of technology of producing Cd-free buffer layers and high conductive transparent electrodes. 3. The development of new advanced technologies for preparation of monograin layer solar cells with high technical parameters. The investigation of the photo-physical parameters of the monograin layers in order to define the optimal for the preparation of high efficient solar cells design and technological processes. Several postgraduate students participate in the research by the project. The publication of the results of this project is planned in the form of articles in international scientific journals and as conference presentations |
