description: | In the history of software programming we can see many paradigm changes. Modul programming, structured programming and object-oriented programming are main paradigms in this list. Today we entered to the web services and software agents paradigm area. Changes in base technology reflects also in the methodolgy of systems development. Today we faced the situation where the development of the base technology is more or less stabilized and international standards are in use. The systems development methodolgy at the same time is under the development. The main goal of this project is to investigate web services and software agent based enterprise system development process and to propose new methodolgy for enterprise system development. New paradigm can be characterized by "Design services to last, design systems to change". The investigate problems of this project are: o Adaptive development of the enterprise systems (Mart Roost and Einar Polis) o Enterprise business process description and measurement (Jelena Nuznaja) o The usage of the patterns in the enterprise systems analysis and design (Erki Eessaar) o The development of the decision support component for web services and software agent coordination (Enn Õunapuu and Tarmo Veskioja) o The analysis and design of the mobil and sensor networks (Haimar Kulbas). The results of the project will be published in articles, conference proceedings and as a book. The results will be used also in education and in implementation of enterprise systems. |
