description: | The present project involves the following research topics: a) Application of Haar wavelets for solving differential and integral equations. The aim is to elaborate the algorithms for solving partial differential equations (incl. evolution equations) applying the Haar wavelet theory. b) Stochastic differential equations. In the frame of the present project it is intended to study stochastic differential equations in the case when the system is influenced by periodical external force with angular velocity having random oscillations. It is planned to study how different modeling of stochastic angular velocity influences the Ljapunov exponents and basis of solutions. c) Dynamic loading of composite structures in the presence of delamination. It is intended to study how the delamination influences the natural frequencies of vibrating structures with piece-wise constant thickness and structures resting on the elastic foundation. In the diagnostics of delaminations, the inverse task is of great of importance: for given natural frequencies or deflection to predict the size and position of delaminations. In the present project it is planned to elaborate methods for solving this inverse problem with the aid of neural networks. |
