The aim is to continue the work in our well established general research area focusing on certain problems which have recently come up and which should be of interest for many algebraists. When compared with my earlier projects, now more attention is paid to classical structures: first of all to finite groups and modular lattices. The central problems are characterization of polynomial functions on finite groups and description of maximal sublattices of direct products of simple modular complemented lattices. Beside, it is planned to study the endoprimality of abelian groups and modules and the clone of congruence compatible functions on semilattices. Also it is planned to continue the investigations related to the classification of affine complete varieties. |
