description: | Estonian engineering enterprises are mainly SME in sector of machiner, apparatus and metal engineering. The analysis of necessity of new technological processes is therefore difficult and companies have not courage to implment the new technology or they do it not in best possible (modelled and analysed) way. The project is a logical continuing part to the previous ESF Grant G5636 concerning concept of network monitoring of technological processes in machinery sector. The new methodology will be basis for collaborative network. The main target is mapping and analysis of modern type processes, development of type processees modules for enterprise management and development of corresponding database as a basis for creation of intelligent advisory system for Estonian engineering.Data and knowledge collection for supporting decision made at particular stages of the work. It means modelling of the processes, abstraction of the knowledge and on this base proposition of concrete activities. 1. Production enterprise network common model development 2. Development of the type processes modules for enterprise management 3. Elaboration of DB structure and relations between several modules 4. Development of the common model for optimisation of the management process in the production enterprise network 5. Development of an intelligent decision support system for production enterprises of collaboration network. The work includes the next stages: 1. Mapping and analysis of the current status of modelling methodologies and software technologies, which reveals the lack of a process flow. 2. Offering of the proper modelling methodology. 3. Development of the type processes modules for enterprise management, elaboration of DB structure and relations between several modules 4. Methodology testing on the several pilot decisions. 5. Formulation of the recommendations by using modelling methodology in the area. 6. The development methodology will be approved in the advisory system of Estonian engineering industries (output also as at least one doctoral and two masters level thesis). |
