description: The main aim of the research project is developing of integrated methods for analysis, synthesis and modelling of mechatronics and measurement systems. The specifics and key-roll of the systems results from the integrated characteristics of mechatronics products and systems. The approach deals with the objectives as nontrivial co-functioning technical systems based on mechanical, electronic and optical technologies including user interfeises based on today¿s information technology. The mutual functional influence effects of different mechatronics system components at exploitation will be also dealt.
The work is applied research with elements of fundamental research and is addressed to develop an integrated approach for synthesis of mechatronics systems concerning the wide application field of the methods and practical importance of the topics for increasing the competitiveness of Estonian enterprises and their production.
Presupposed result of the research will be synthesis methods of mechatronics systems for functional integration of mechanics, IT and electronics on component and functional level. Supposed result of the work will also be a complex of practical aids for realisation the methods developed and also the realisation products in industrial level (for instance intelligent test devices in technical inspection systems, intelligent instruments, incl, toys and biomechanical rehabilitation systems, measurement technologies, etc.).
